Summer Camp Sessions:  June 18th - August 17th

This summer we are offering the following:

  • Summer Passes, Half Summer Passes (5 weeks) - AVAILABLE NOW!
  • 5 day passes and 1 day passes! - COMING SOON!
  • Themed day camp for Prekindergarten (must turn 4 by Monday of their camp week) through 4th grade!
  • Field Trip day camps for 4th-9th grade! - COMING SOON!

Theme Camp Details:  Each week campers are invited to participate in modules like Science Mania, Cooking, Fit Kids, Arts & Craftivities, Outdoor Ed, and Xploratorium (STEM based) focused around a weekly theme.  Our themes are age appropriate, have been designed to build creativity and curiosity, and are also based on children's interests. 

Campers are able to swim each week at GRACE EPISCOPAL.  Our day camp is a 9-week program and campers can attend anywhere from 1-9 weeks of camp or any day and week.  Check out our Summer Passes (full summer or half summer + before and after care) to save even more! 2018 Summer Camp Themes

Week 1: Flyin’ Around the Globe - June 18th - 22nd

Grab your passports as we head around the globe to visit

 

Week 2: Escape the Room - Baroody Camps Style - June 25th - 29th

 

Week 3: I Wonder, wonder, wonder? - July 2nd - 6th (No Camp July 4th)

If you loved this movie as much as we did, we think you’ll enjoy an opportunity spend time with us this week.  Our campers will get a chance to build community with other campers, by finding out what brings us together and what makes us unique.  Using arts integration to guide our activities, campers will create projects that tie into a variety of lessons and themes we can learn from some wonderful picture books.  We hope you’ll join us as we “choose kindness”!  

 

Week 4: What’s the Buzz at Baroody Camps? - July 9th - 13th

Extra!  Extra!  This week at Baroody Camps we will be setting up our very own news office and working with our “rookie” journalists.  Campers will learn about how to create the news in print, digitally, and “on air” with our very own “TV station”.  Don’t miss it!

Week 6: Our Planet Earth - July 23rd - 27th

 

Week 7: Caring Campers - July 30th - Aug. 3rd

We invite you to a unique week at Baroody that we are super excited about!  This week campers will get the chance to share their ideas about places and people that are close to their hearts.  Campers will learn about some area non-profit organizations that have made it their mission to support a variety of needs like Animal Rescue?, Martha’s Table, the American Red Cross, Washington Hospital Children’s Center?….. (choose places that are important to Baroody and/or we have connections to)  

 

Week 8: Space Invaders - Aug. 6th - 10th

 

Week 9: Summer Explosion! - Aug. 13th - 17th

This is our last week of camp and we are going out with a bang!  Join us as we spend time celebrating the end of summer!
